(This is a sponsored review of Y Cafe Makati.)
Studying and/or working in Makati has both its advantages and disadvantages: the Makati City traffic can get crazy especially on Friday nights, however if ever you want to let the rush hour pass, you will never run out of places to chill out and bond with your classmates, friends, and colleagues. My newest discovery is one of the restaurants in Makati which is Y Cafe. It is only a walking distance from the very busy Ayala Avenue, hence it is a perfect place to spend time whether alone or with friends.
Y CAFE MAKATI AND ITS INSTAGRAM-WORTHY INTERIORS
The facade looks like a typical coffee shop right? But wait until you enter inside.
This is like a complete #throwback to everyone’s childhood days!
Odaiba feels with this Gundam Robot! <3
Who does not love this adorable robot cat, right?
A giant Rubik’s cube inside a cafe? Why not? 🙂
Of course, I need to have a photo with these cute interiors!
THE AMBIANCE
Y Cafe will give you a very nice ambiance and you can definitely enjoy your time alone or with friends. The interior is so elegant.
WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO AT Y CAFE MAKATI?
Y Cafe has a collection of board games as well as books which you can borrow. Yay! Perfect for bookworms and barkadas!

Hold on: Did I just see Tom Friedman my love? <3
Y CAFE MAKATI MENU
An Instagram-worthy stay at Y Cafe will not be complete without its mouth-watering menu. I was able to try the following dishes (which, btw, is presented on a very aesthetic way, like those in hotels):
HAINANESE CHICKEN STEAK (Php350)
DELIGHTFUL ASIAN BEEF STEW (Php260)
SPICY SHRIMP AND SAUSAGE (Php280)
LOUISIANA CHICKEN CRUNCH (Php280)
SPICY AGLIO OLIO BACON PASTA (Php280)
CHICKEN AND MUSHROOM PASTA (Php320)
BURGER SLIDERS (Php275)
Y Cafe: One of the Cool Restaurants in Makati Central Business District
Restaurants in Makati are there left and right, but I recommend giving this place a try. The existence of a board game and bookshelf makes it stand out among other places around. Plus, the food is something you should not miss! Aside from it will give you a #throwback Japanese childhood days feeling, the interior design of Y Cafe ensures you the best dining and bonding and even a ‘me time’ experience. 🙂
Y Cafe is located at 144 H.V. Dela Costa Street, Makati City, Philippines
