Vitto's Wine Bar and Restaurant: A Perfect Place for a Fancy Night

Attention, sommeliers! I think I have found the perfect place for you at the heart of Scout Area, Quezon City, and it’s Vitto’s Wine Bar and Restaurant!

I really love Scout Area in Quezon City because aside form it is my favorite jogging place, it has a lot of restaurants to choose from. Whenever I want to hang out with my friends based in Quezon City, I would never hesitate to suggest that we hang out at Tomas Morato or Scout Area. In this area, we could choose between eating in a Korean BBQ restaurant, Japanese restaurant, Filipino restaurant, or even either choose to drink either coffee, beer, or wine, depending on our mood!

long Scout Lozano Street is this very fancy place called Vitto’s Wine Bar and Restaurant. It is faced in a street where not many people pass by, which gives it a very quiet and peaceful vibe. With that, I hope Vitto’s would have advertisement signs, let’s say, along Timog Avenue or Tomas Morato Avenue.

The facade has a classy black minimalist theme, similar to some fancy restaurants you see in Europe. You will already feel the very good ambiance from the outside because of its rustic color scheme. I believe most wine restaurants have wood-ish rustic theme, but Vitto’s version is more minimalistic and therefore more claay.

When you enter Vitto’s, it will give you a very nice Italian vibe. You can choose to sit in couches, high chairs, and even by the bar. Upon entering, you might assume that the place is small, but there is another area behind a camouflaged-door just on the left side of this wall art. You will not see it right away because it is covered in a couch-like leather thing.

They serve several kinds of wines and they actually have a lot of food in their menu. Oh, they also have Illy’s coffee products in their menu, too. To be honest I am still working on learning my wine vocabulary (because I don’t really drink! huhu), so I am trying here to focus on the food instead.

So, what did we order?

Salted Egg Pasta

This might look like your ordinary white sauce pasta, but if you take the first bite, you will feel the texture of the salted egg and it just blends with the pasta sauce. Yum!

Steak Kabab

The meat is well-cooked and I love the salsa that comes with it.

Cheese and Sausage Platter

I’m a cheese lover and I must say this is highly recommended! I super love all the flavors of cheese they have in this platter. The sausages were good, too!

Gallo Family Moscato

As mentioned, I do not drink white wine that much, but Moscato is a good choice if you want to just have a chill wine night. It tastes like your lemon soda but in a way higher level.

There are still a lot of items in the menu to choose from. Other bestsellers include Vitto’s Nachos which is also a must-try. It matches perfectly with every wine.

Other Important Information About Vittos

Vitto’s values customer feedback, and you can answer their customer feedback form at the paper place mats in your tables. In terms of parking, it can be difficult to park in the area (which is common among the restaurants in Scout Area/Tomas Morato) hence during peak hours, you might have to think twice before bringing your car.
