Some Street Photography in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Tips:

Kuala Lumpur is a city that has a rich culture, diverse architecture and plenty of street life to capture. There are many street photographers in this city who capture moments on their camera as they walk around the streets, but here are some tips to get you started:

Find a Good Location.

Kuala Lumpur has plenty of public places with lots of people walking by, so it’s easy to find people to photograph. Places like Central Market or Jalan Alor offer great opportunities for you to take pictures without having to wait long periods of time for something interesting to happen.

The best place to take street photographs in Kuala Lumpur is at Petaling Street where you will find a lot of great street vendors and people selling their wares on the side of the road.

Always be aware of your surroundings when taking photos.

It is important not to get so caught up in what you are photographing that you forget about your surroundings. You never know when something unexpected might happen or who might walk into your frame so always be mindful of those around you.
