Hang Out at Pages Cafe, Caloocan City

Caloocan City might not be one’s usual destination in Metro Manila, but let me tell you a secret: there is a newly-opened coffee shop here which can definitely make both your brains and tummies happy! Presenting: Pages and Lattes along EDSA Caloocan! 🙂

This unassuming but nice place is located along EDSA in Caloocan City near Manila Central University. They offer a vast selection of food, dessert, and both caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks. Moreover, they also have books for you to borrow as well as a study area exclusively for those who want to get academic-related stuff done. Above all, whatever your purpose for dining in a cafe, this beautiful place will definitely provide it for you.

The interior is so bright and relaxing which is perfect for a nice and chill hangout session with your friends and family. Similarly, it gives you a library vibe and adds to your motivation and inspiration!

I seriously loved this part of the cafe where you can have your photo taken. In other words, this is another idea for a photo for your Instagram feed! 😉

Pages and Lattes Hungarian Sausage Rice Meal

This is one of the bestsellers and the quality of the sausage is really good.

Bacon and Egg Rice Meal

Who doesn’t want some bacon? The bacon is cooked just right — not too crispy nor too soft.

White Pages

The cream of this carbonara is just right and I love the quality of the pasta.

P&L Pesto

Pesto is my favorite pasta of all time. I have tasted a lot of different pesto pasta dishes in my life, and this is a unique one, especially with the presence of the meat flakes.

The Drinks

They also offer different types of caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks. Also, did I mention that one of their baristas is a former Starbucks Coffee Master? 🙂

Java Chip

This one is really chocolate-y and not too sugary.

Fresh Peach Tea

Imagine drinking it by the beach with a good book. Good life, right? This is how this drink will make you feel.

Mango Creme

This blended drink is so thick and creamy and the taste is legitimately mango. Specifically, it beats my favorite mango shake drink in a chain coffee shop. *wink wink* Yum!

Latte

Aside from the beautiful latte art, I really enjoyed this coffee because I can taste how purely Arabica it is and you do not need to put some sugar because the coffee itself is enough. 🙂

Why am I highly-recommending Pages & Lattes again?

Aside from the good food, good ambiance, and a wide selection of books, what really completed my experience is meeting one of the co-owners of the cafe, Ms. Joyce. She told me about the story of the humble beginnings of the business and how it became successful as it is now. Becaue of that, I was really inspired by her stories and she is a role model to other millennials who also want to reach for their dreams and establish their own businesses. I myself is already thinking about pursuing my dream business after meeting her (Shall I make my French Macaron business dream come true? Haha!). Surely this beautiful place will serve every customer with love and sincerity. ❤
