A popular surfing spot near Manila is Liwliwa Beach, which is located in the town of San Felipe, Zambales. Some avid surfers from Manila and other nearby destinations would go here every weekend to have some taste of the waves. If you are not a surfer, this can also serve as a nice beach near Manila to relax and have a nice time.

Accommodation in Liwliwa Beach: The Circle Hostel Zambales
There are numerous hotels near Liwliwa Beach that offer comfortable and luxurious accommodations. From beachfront resorts to budget-friendly inns, there is something for everyone.
My accommodation in Liwliwa was at the Circle Hostel Zambales and had a good time there with its colorful interiors and nice dorm rooms. I will definitely consider staying there again to have a more detailed review.
How to get to Liwliwa Beach?
Getting to LiwLiwa Beach is relatively easy. You can take a bus from Manila to San Felipe, Zambales and then take a tricycle or jeepney ride to the beach itself. Alternatively, if you have your own vehicle, you can also drive directly to the beach via Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). Whichever route you choose, make sure that you follow directions carefully so that you don’t get lost on your way there!
