This article is a list containing my PERSONAL recommendations of the best hotels near Manila Airport. It contains affiliate links which you are welcome to use.
Some travelers are here to visit Manila, but some are just here for a local or international layover. Given the second situation, all we need is a place to stay to sleep and/or freshen up which is close to the airport itself (because Manila traffic can get too much and you don’t wanna miss your flights, ladies and gentlemen!). Rummaging through booking sites is frustrating because it will not directly tell you the hotel’s distance to the airport, and believe me, as a frequent flyer myself, I know the feeling.
Given that, I did the research for you and compiled the top 10 hotels near Manila Airport or NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) which ranges from budget to luxury picks. I have experienced staying in some of them that’s why I personally recommend them, so read on for more details.
But before anything else, here are other hotels and hostels in Metro Manila that I have stayed before and wrote review articles about:
- City Garden Grand Hotel (Makati)
- KL Tower Serviced Residences (Makati)
- Z Hostel (Makati)
- Junction Hostels (Makati)
- BGC Hostel Makati (Makati)
- Privato Ortigas (Ortigas)
- Garv’s Boutique Hotel (Ortigas)
- Pink Manila Hostel (Manila)
- BCD Ohana 58 Hotel/Hostel (Manila)
- West Avenue Suites (Quezon City)
- Privato Quezon City (Quezon City)
- Panay Kain Tulog Atbp. Hostel (Quezon City)
So, without any further ado, here is the list that you clicked for (and booking through my affiliate links will earn me commissions at no extra costs on your part).
Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila
I stayed at Golden Phoenix Manila for a work-related workshop and this is a relatively new hotel at the Mall of Asia (MoA) complex. Overall service here is great. I love the food, the gym was nice and tidy, and the room is exquisite with its elegant blackout curtains. It is a walking distance from SM Mall of Asia.
DISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT: 3.9km
Citadines Bay City Manila
I also had the privilege to stay her for a work-related workshop, and this hotel is newly-built and elegant. Its lobby looks like a classical home office with a library with a relaxing interior. The room I stayed has a modern design that’s very chic. The toiletries have good quality, too. It has a mall, fastfood, and drugstore next to it. It is located in a very safe and organized area.
DISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT: 3.7km
Red Planet Aseana City
I believe some frequent flyers to and from Manila would sympathize with my, but Filipinos have developed a habit of going to the airport 4 hours before departure, not only because the immigration lines are usually long, but because of the traffic jam. Afraid to miss a very important early morning flight, I considered staying at Red Planet Aseana City. The rooms are basic and they don’t provide toiletries, but there are a lot of establishments nearby, such as convenience stores and fast food restarants.
DISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT: 3.1km
Stone House Hotel Pasay
If hostels are your option, one of the closest ones to the airport is Stone House Hotel, which is around 10 minutes away. Dorm-type accommodation and private rooms are both available here, in case you change your mind last minute. Their private rooms have their own toilets and television. Their common areas are minimalist but elegant.
DISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT: 3.2km
Go Hotels Manila Airport Road
Go Hotels is a popular hotel chain in the Philippines, and the closest one to the airport is Go Hotels Manila Airport Road. This Go Hotel is right next to the big 5-star casino hotels such as Solaire, Resorts World Manila, and City of Dreams, in case you want to place some money to a bet.
DISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT: 2.1km
Kabayan Hotel Pasay
Kabayan Hotel Pasay is strategically located just right beside the LRT/MRT train lines intersection, making it the best hotel if you are planning to ahve a quick exploration of the city using Manila train lines. It is also right next to several bus stations bound for different parts of the Philippines.
DISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT: 3.4km
The Concierge at Sea Residences
The Concierge at Sea Residences is not actually a hotel, but a couple of rooms at the SMDC Sea Residences Condominium that are made available for daily rental. If you want to have a less hotel-y, more home-y feeling, I think this is a good choice. Renting a unit at The Concierge also awards you access to the amenities at Sea Residences. It is located inside the Mall of Asia Complex.
DISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT: 4km
Nichols Airport Hotel
If a place to sleep on a budget is the only thing you need, I think Nichols Airport Hotel has got you covered. With its relatively cheap rates, it has a coffee shop and rooftop bar for guests to still enjoy their stay despite it being basic. Massage services and tour arrangements are also available, just approach the friendly staff at the front desk!
DISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT: 2.4km
DG Budget Hotel NAIA
If distance to the airport is your number one concern, DG Budget Hotel is literally just right across the airport, and, behold, it has shuttle services to all the four airport terminals! Duty-Free shops are located all over the place, if you are looking for some place to shop.
DISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT: 1.7km
The Hotel at Green Sun
The Hotel at Green Sun is located in Makati and is popular among business travelers. It may be located a little outside the airport perimeters, but it is close to several big malls such as Greenbelt and Glorietta. It has an in-house restaurant that serves authentic Filipino cuisine.
DISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT: 3.1km
