The Philippines has a significant number of Muslim population, however I know for a fact that my Filipino Muslim friends and colleagues are always finding it hard to find halal restaurants in Manila, Philippines. Moreover, I know several Muslim friends who are discouraged to visit Manila because halal restaurants are not so common here, and if so, they cost more than an average meal.
For the benefit of my Muslim friends and colleagues inside and outside the Philippines and the entire Muslim community as well, I have compiled this list of halal restaurants in Manila*. I promise to try these restaurants myself one by one in the future to have a first hand review.
